WALLY WARNING

Anyone who has been travelling around as long in the music business as Wally Warning might safely be called a musical globetrotter but they won’t come anywhere near him. The singer and multi-instrumentalist who plays nearly all the instruments on his cd’s himself, has given his life and soul to music since his early youth.
At 17 Wally Warning left Aruba, the island of his birth in the Dutch Antilles, in order to conquer the world with his music. After a stopover in the Netherlands he finally found his new home in Munich.
Whenever Wally Warning, singer, guitarist, bassist and composer is on stage, solo or with his band, the audience is infected by his enthusiasm because they feel that every performance is more than just a gig for Wally.

Wally Warning is not only a  wanderer between worlds but creates a world music not bound by any category. The newspaper “Südkurier” calls it “a better world music” in every sense. In the course of many years of travel Wally Warning has developed his own style which distinguishes itself by its authenticity and sincerity.    A multicultural crossover that catches the ear.

“Love can save us” is Wally’s message. His love to JESUS CHRIST has changed his life and has strongly influenced his music. He is a joyful missionary crossing borders.

A short while ago the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” wrote:
“instead of exploiting commercial trends the  son of a preacher prefers to compose soft verses about love, faith and hope”.

“In a time of electronic over-saturation I would like to place special emphasis
on the musical craft, to reduce the songs to the essential and to slow down –

WALLY WARNING

Von der kleinen Karibikinsel Aruba überrascht Publikum und Fachwelt immer wieder neu. Auf vielen Bühnen der Welt zuhause, gelang ihm 2007 der Sommerhit „no monkey“ mit guter Chartplatzierung in Deutschland und der Schweiz. Ein Song, der die Menschen bestärken soll, ihren tiefsten Wünschen nachzugehen, mutig zu sein, Lebensträume zu verwirklichen ohne dabei andere zu verletzen.

Die Mischung macht’s : Wenn Wally Warning, Sänger, Gitarrist, Bassist und Komponist solo oder mit  Band auf der Bühne steht, springt der Funke schnell über. Die Zuhörer spüren, dass es für Wally jedes Mal mehr ist als ein bloßer Auftritt vor Publikum.

Wally Warning ist nicht nur engagierter Wanderer zwischen den Welten, er kreiert eine „Weltmusik“, die sich keiner Kategorie verpflichtet fühlt. Der Südkurier nennt es eine „Better-World-Music“, in jedem Sinne des Wortes.“
